Along with a dedicated team of volunteers the Road to Victory Military Museum have been restoring and displaying military vehicles and artifacts for many years. The most recent completed restoration is of a 1943 M8 Greyhound armored car, nicknamed ‘Risky’.

Other projects or Special Operations include:

  • Operation Outpost This is the ongoing project involving the restoration of the WWII Camp Murphy building in which the museum resides.

  • Operation Restoration This is a long term project involving the complete restoration of a very rare WWII Higgins boat.

  • Operation Parade: Twice annually the museum partners with the Veterans Council of Martin County and the city of Stuart to produce the Memorial Day and Veteran Day Parades.

  • The 804th Venture Crew: This is a group of young men aged 14-20 who are interested in WWII re-enacting. In partnership with the Boy Scouts of America this Venture Crew primarily re-enacts the 4th Armored Division along with elements from the 101st Airborne and 761st Tankers unit.
